Ciaran Morahan
Ciaran Morahan is a multi-instrumentalist from London, UK, best known as a lead member of instrumental rock group Codes In The Clouds. The band were one of Erased Tapes Records’ earliest signings in 2007 and have since toured relentlessly, opening for the likes of Nils Frahm, Explosions In The Sky, Mono and 65daysofstatic.
Originally writing compositions mainly for guitar, Morahan’s love of electronic and ambient music has recently seen him experimenting with analogue synths, piano and string arrangements. Morahan’s cinematic writing style has been featured in a number of TV programs, ads and films, including Edward Lovelace’s moving documentary ‘Name Me Lawand’ and the trailer for Mark Ruffalo’s directorial debut ‘Sympathy For Delicious’.
