“Concert hall compositions for the clubbing generation,” is how BBC described Brandt’s electro-acoustic dance project Brandt Brauer Frick which has performed internationally over 300 times including at Coachella, Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz, Lincoln Center, Sónar, Southbank, Centre Pompidou and Berghain.
A graduate of Cologne’s Media Arts Academy, Brandt directs music videos and short films, leading to spots at BBC, arte, Vice, Dazed & Confused, The Guardian and MTV, plus accolades at London Independent, Mexico International, and Oberhausen Short Film festivals. Brandt co-founded Strrr, an online channel where acclaimed artists present their favorite web clips, revealing new insights into their lives and work. He is currently in production on a new short film.
Recent scoring work includes campaigns for Amnesty International and World Animal Protection.
